Joshua Emanuel Laizer is a 6-year-old boy of a young mother Veronica from Oldonyo Lengai village. Joshua is the first born from his mother. His mother was very bright student six years ago but she became pregnant from her secondary school teacher. Veronica’s dreams of being educated died and she became a mother. One year later we found her in the village when she was about to be married to a warrior. With a support from her mother, we rescued her and she is now working as a housekeeper in Arusha and helping support her family and Joshua. She is very proud that Joshua is in school and promised to help him get a better education.
