last year our school Project, Engaruka English Medium school received a donation from Maasai Education Foundation, Boutique Safari as well as Thomas P Nail’s to facilitate availability of water which was a long-time challenge for the school. Water is a fundamental necessity of life, and its importance cannot be overstated. At our school, we have experienced firsthand the transformative power of clean water, thanks to this generous contributions . Not only have they donated vital infrastructure, but they have also ensured that every student in our school has access to safe and clean water. In this article, we will explore the significance of clean water for students and express our heartfelt gratitude to these benevolent organizations.

Clean water is not just a convenience; it is a basic human right and an essential component of a healthy life. Here’s why clean water is so crucial for students

• Promotes Good Health: Access to clean water reduces the risk of waterborne diseases and illnesses. When students have clean water to drink and wash their hands with, they are less likely to fall sick, ensuring regular attendance and uninterrupted learning.

• Environmental Sustainability : This donation has became very important within our environmental sustainability because we already started planting trees and even school garden within our school project. This activities also serves as learning environment where students have a life-time experience on how certain tree species are planted and the importance of planting trees.
